• ALL Nokia EMIF IC and replacing it by jumpers

    1. EMIF SIM (EMIF03-SIM01, EMIF03-SIM01F2, EMIF03-SIM02F2)

    Case: silver-glassed 1.57x1.57 mm (SIM01), 1.42x1.42 mm (SIM01F2, SIM02F2), 8 in\out, (A1) - absent.

    Lable: logo of manufacturer (ST), 3 letter - FCT (SIM01), first 2 letter - FC (SIM01F2) and GJ (SIM02F2).

    Used in all Nokia mobile. Also, used in Siemens (S65, CX75, M75, AL21, CF110 and many others)

    Malfunction symptoms: No SIM, lost SIM, on only in Offline mode

    Repalacing by jumpers:

    Also, this problems may be if damaged central contact of battery (BSI) - check contact if damaged, try to replace battery.

    2. EMIF display, EMIF keyboard (EMIF10-COM01F2, 25 in\out)

    Case: silver-glassed, 2.64x2.64 mm, 25 in\out

    Lable: logo of manufacturer (ST), first 2 letters - FE.

    Used: Nokia 6170/7270, 6230i, 3230/6260, 6680/6681, 6126/6131/6133, 3250 (used 7 lines), 7370/7373, 6270, 6280/6288/6233/6234 (4 units, in some used 7-8 lines), 9300/9300i/9500 (4 units)...; SonyEricsson K300, K500, K700...; "Siemens" C62.

    Malfunction symptoms: if damaged EMIF of keyboard - not work some keys (row of keyboard, sometimes - all keyboard), if damaged EMIF of display - no image on display.
    Note: for display and keyboard always used separate IC's for display and keyboard. See schematics before replacing keyboard an display IC's.

    3. EMIF display, EMIF keyboard (EMIF10-1K010F2, 24 in\out)

    Case: silver-glassed, 2.57x2.57 mm, 24 in\out, key(A1) - absent.

    Lable: logo of manufacturer (ST), first 2 letters - FD; analogue Philips - PH 4035.

    Used: Nokia 1110/1600/1112, 3200/6610/6610i/7210/5140/5140i, 3220/7260/6020/6021/6030, 6060/6101/6103, 3650/3660/6600, 6070/6080, 6670/7610...

    Malfunction symptoms: if damaged EMIF of keyboard - not work some keys (row of keyboard, sometimes - all keyboard), if damaged EMIF of display - no image on display.

    Note: for display and keyboard always used separate IC's for display and keyboard. See schematics before replacing keyboard an display IC's.

    Though, I extremely do not recommend to replace this IC with jumpers, because of unreal complexity...


    4. EMIF display, EMIF keyboard (EMIF10-LCD02F3, 24 in\out)

    Case: silver-glassed, 1.97x1.97 mm, 24 in\out, out B3 - is absent.

    Lable: logo of manufacturer (ST), first 2 letters - GY.

    Used: Nokia 2310/2610, 2630, 2660, 2760, 3109c/3110c, 5610, 5700, 6290, 6300, 6500, 7390, 7500, 8600, N91, N92...

    Malfunction symptoms: if damaged EMIF of keyboard - not work some keys (row of keyboard, sometimes - all keyboard), if damaged EMIF of display - no image on display.

    5. EMIF of signal Reset display, EMIF keyboard (EMIF02-MIC02F2)

    Case: silver-glassed, 1.57x1.07 mm, 6 in\out.

    Lable: logo of manufacturer (ST), first 2 letters - FJ.

    Used: Nokia 3230/6260, 6670/7610, 3650/3660...

    Malfunction symptoms: if that ic used in display circuit - noise on display (color noise) instead of image, if in keyboard circuit - keyboard not works.

    6. EMIF MMC card (EMIF04-MMC02F2)

    Case: silver-glassed, 1.57x2.07 mm, 11 in\out, key (A1) - is absent.

    Lable: logo of manufacturer (ST), first 2 letters - FH.

    Used: Nokia with MMC interface

    Malfunction symptoms: MMC no work or MMC not formatted

    Repalacing by jumpers:

    7. Controller of MMC (LP3928TLX-1828)

    DC/DC converter 1.8 and 2.8 V in one case.

    Case: matted-black glassed, 2.0x2.0 mm, 16 in/out.

    Lable: Last three letters - L8B.

    Used: Nokia with MMC interface.
    (in 3230/6260 - 2 units. Second used in circuits POP-port)

    Malfunction symptoms: MMC no work or MMC not formatted

    It is required separate 3-V DC/DC converter. Another variant - insert jumpers on Data bus (C1-C4, D2-D3, D1-D4) and insert 2.9V on capasistor on line B1 - the scheme of repairing mobile is required (this variant is used on 7610)


    8. One-channel sound amplifier (IHF Amp) (LM4890ITLX, LM4890IBLX, LM4990ITLX)

    Operated single-crystal amplifiers above 1W with R-4Ohm (LM4890) and abowe 2W with R- 4 Ohm (LM4990).

    Case: matted-black glassed, or silver-glassed, 1.51x1.51 mm, 9 in\out (LM4890); 1.46x1.46 mm, 9 in\out (LM4990).

    Lable:
    • LM4890IBLX - 3d letter - G, below - P
    • LM4890ITLX - 3d letter - G, below - A8
    • LM4990ITLX - 3d letter - G, below D2

    Used: Nokia 2112/2116/2118/2125, 2300/2600, 2650, 3100/6100, 3108, 3120, 3230/6260, 6670/7610, 3650/3660/6600/NGage/QD...

    Malfunction symptoms: sound of buzzer is absent. Lines to speaker are tested.

    Repalacing by jumpers: IMPOSSIBLE - IT IS AMPLIFIER


    11. White LED Driver (TK65600B)

    It is DC-DC converter, generate in out - 15V. Pressure increase occurs on the coil 22 uGn.

    Case: silver-glassed, 1.50x1.50 mm, 8 in\out (3х3, center B2 - is absent)

    Used: many phones Nokia DCT-4, WD-2 and BB5 with color LCD

    Malfunction symptoms: Backlight of LCD and sometimes keyboard is absent

    Repalacing by jumpers: Impossible - it is CONVERTER.


    12. EMIF display, EMIF keyboard (EMIF07-LCD02F3)

    Case: silver-glassed, 1.97x1.57 mm, 18 in\out, B2,В4 - is absent.

    Lable: logo of manufacturer (ST), first 2 letters - GX.

    Used: Nokia 3110c, 3500, 6300, 7500...

    Malfunction symptoms: if damaged EMIF of keyboard - not work some keys (row of keyboard, sometimes - all keyboard), if damaged EMIF of display - no image on display.

    Caution: This amplifiers not campotable are not compatible to the previous by in\out.

    EMIF display (IP5040CX11_LF, 11 in\out)

    Case: silver-glassed, 11 in\out, (B2) - is absent.

    Lable: logo of manufacturer (ST)

    Used: Nokia N91, E65, E70, N73, N80, N92...

    Malfunction symptoms: if damaged EMIF of keyboard - not work some keys (row of keyboard, sometimes - all keyboard), if damaged EMIF of display - no image on display.
